IS OURS A SHIP OF STATE OR A BOATLOAD OF BOOBS?

Insanity has been defined as "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." The truth is that one needn't be a certified loony to repeat mistakes which have predictable results; the more critical criterion is stupidity. By either definition, we American voters are dumb as doorknobs, and incontrovertible evidence of this are the elected reprehensibles we repeatedly return to Congress. Specifically, recent polls revealed that, while a scant 10% of us approved of their doings on Crapitall Hill, 90% of those who ran for reelection in 2012 were returned to office.
